Fukien Tea

Fukien Tea

Fukien Tea is a highly favored ornamental species in tropical and subtropical bonsai, renowned for its small, waxy, deep green leaves and rugged dark brown bark. The foliage features unique, minute white bristles that add a distinctive tactile quality. A standout feature of this species is its year-round floral and fruit display: it produces delicate, star-shaped white flowers followed by small berries that transition from green to a vibrant red.

Exceptionally well-suited for indoor cultivation, Fukien Tea is an ideal choice for beginners and urban dwellers. Highly resilient and adaptable, it thrives on sunny balconies as well as in bright indoor areas near windows or well-lit living spaces. Routine care is straightforward and intuitive—maintain a warm environment and consistent moisture, ensuring the soil does not dry out completely to preserve its lush vitality.

With the rhythmic beauty of its flowers and berries nestled among fine foliage, Fukien Tea brings a vibrant yet gentle natural energy to any modern interior.

Return policy
  • All bonsai plants are living, naturally evolving works of art, so their appearance may vary slightly from photos due to growth, pruning, and seasonal changes. For this reason, we do not accept returns or refunds based on minor differences in shape or form.
  • Pots may show natural texture, glaze variation, or light marks from use—these are normal characteristics, not defects.
  • We carefully check each plant’s condition before shipping and pack it securely to reduce the risk of damage in transit. Delivery is arranged and managed by us. If your plant or pot arrives significantly damaged due to shipping, please contact us with photos and we will review your case and, where appropriate, offer a return or refund.

If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch—we’re happy to help.
