Tiger Bark Ficus is a variety of Ficus microcarpa, prized for its distinctive mottled bark, vigorous growth, and ease of styling. Its bark ranges from light grey-brown to creamy beige, covered with small white or pale spots and stripes that resemble tiger markings—hence the name “Tiger Bark”.
This evergreen tropical species has small, alternate, elliptical leaves with a smooth, glossy surface and deep green colour. In warm, humid conditions, it readily produces aerial roots that grow downward and gradually fuse with the main trunk, forming a thick, layered “banyan-style” base.
Highly adaptable, Tiger Bark Ficus thrives in Hong Kong’s hot and humid climate. It can be kept year-round in bright indoor locations or placed outdoors on balconies and terraces. It prefers full sun to bright, indirect light; avoid prolonged deep shade in summer. In winter, reduce watering and fertilising, and ensure well-draining soil to prevent waterlogging.

Bonsai plants are generally shipped within 1–5 days after order confirmation. For some orders, fastest delivery can be same‑day or next‑day, depending on order processing and delivery location.
Orders over HKD $1,800 qualify for free local delivery.
For other orders, delivery fees are as follows:
- Kowloon: HKD $150
- Hong Kong Island and New Territories: HKD $200
- Outlying islands and remote areas: Please contact us after placing your order, and we will provide a custom delivery quote.

Return policy
- All bonsai plants are living, naturally evolving works of art, so their appearance may vary slightly from photos due to growth, pruning, and seasonal changes. For this reason, we do not accept returns or refunds based on minor differences in shape or form.
- Pots may show natural texture, glaze variation, or light marks from use—these are normal characteristics, not defects.
- We carefully check each plant’s condition before shipping and pack it securely to reduce the risk of damage in transit. Delivery is arranged and managed by us. If your plant or pot arrives significantly damaged due to shipping, please contact us with photos and we will review your case and, where appropriate, offer a return or refund.
